Sunday Breakfast: 5 Hot Grains

Breakfast is my abolsute favorite meal of the day! If I could have breakfast food for every meal, I would! I love it so much that as soon as I finish my breakfast in the morning, I start thinking about what I’m going to have for breakfast the follwing day. Today, I decided to mix things up a little bit… Instead of my usual bowl of oats, I had a nice hot bowl of Old Wessex 5-Grain cereal. I added a little extra flaxseed, some Silk Light Vanilla soymilk, and some organic raisins. I also had some a banana and some scrambled egg whites.

Right now I’m brewing some hazelnut creme decaf to complete my breakfast. Hazelnut is my absolute favorite coffee flavor! Decaf isn’t quite the same in the morning as regular, but due to the breasfeeding, I’ve got to stay caffeine-free.

I’m looking forward to a nice smoothie for snack later this morning. After yesterday’s not-so-tasty concoction, I have a much better idea in mind for today’s mixture!

It’s a beautiful day, so my exercise may end up being a walk or a hike outdoors. Doesn’t seem right to stay in on a day like this!
